Product Structure
D-sub is the abbreviation for "D-type ultra-small connector", with its metal casing in the shape of a "D", ensuring the correct insertion direction. 9W4 represents its pin/connector count specification, specifically referring to a 9-pin connector but not a standard arrangement.
"9": Indicates that there are 9 contact positions inside the connector housing.
"W4": Means that among these 9 positions, 4 are large-sized pins/holes for welding high-current cables, and the remaining 5 are standard-sized signal pins. This design enables it to simultaneously transmit high current (through the W pins) and control signals.
"Female connector": Refers to the part of the connector where the contacts are the holes, usually installed at the device end or the end of the cable, to receive the insertion of the male connector (pins).
