High-speed transmission capability: The CoaXPress 2.0 standard supports the CXP-12 level. The single-channel transmission rate reaches 12.5 Gbps. Through link aggregation technology, 4 channels can be expanded to 50 Gbps, and 8 channels can reach 100 Gbps, meeting the data transmission requirements of high-resolution and high-frame-rate industrial cameras.
Long-distance transmission: At a rate of 3.125 Gbps, the cable length can reach 100 meters; at a rate of 12.5 Gbps, it can still support transmission over 35 meters, far exceeding the transmission distance limitations of interfaces such as USB3 Vision and CameraLink.
Integrated function: A single cable simultaneously transmits image data (downstream 12.5 Gbps), control signals (upstream 41.6 Mbps), and power (up to 13 W), achieving the "Power-over-Coax" function, simplifying system wiring.
Applications
The CoaXPress single-core cable is widely used in industrial vision inspection, medical imaging, semiconductor inspection, intelligent transportation systems, and printing inspection, etc. It is particularly suitable for high-end machine vision applications that require high speed, low latency, and long-distance transmission.
